Gunship Recon-PLAZA: What You Need to Know About the 2 Free DLC Games Included

Shortly after Clovis became the head of the InterGalactic Banking Clan, he found himself being blackmailed by Separatist leader, Count Dooku, to raise interest rates towards the Republic and not the Separatists. Dooku also pressured Clovis to allow the Separatists to take full control of the bank. After Clovis agreed, Commander Thorn and his shock troopers detected Separatist fighters closing in on the landing platform they were stationed at. Thorn ordered the troops and gunships around them to get off the landing platform and regroup beyond the city gates. He then warned Senator Amidala of the incoming Separatist invasion. However, Thorn informed her that they would not be able to get to her in time and she needed to flee the planet. The attacking droid fighters shot the gunships and Consular-class cruiser down, leaving the remaining shock troopers with no reinforcements.[5]

Gunship Recon-PLAZA

As Thorn and his men rushed toward the entrance of the neutral zone, droid gunships entered the firefight and blocked their path in the front and the landing pad behind them. The droids began to cut down the shock troopers and deployed commando and super battle droids to attack. Thorn was the last to remain standing but kept fighting, using his rotary blaster cannon as a melee and long range weapon. However, he was greatly outnumbered, and was shot multiple times in the chest until he was finally killed by a commando droid. These actions prompted the Galactic Senate to send forces of the Grand Army of the Republic under the command of General Anakin Skywalker to free the planet. In the aftermath of the battle, the Senate turned the banks over to the direct control of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.[5]

As Nu was able to infiltrate the Temple, her starfighter was discovered by members of the Coruscant underworld police, she ordered her droid, Beetoo to self detonate, resulting in a large explosion that killed the police officers as well as Beetoo. After the bombing, Coruscant Guard members were involved in securing the bomb site and aided the newly established Imperial Security Bureau and the underworld police in the investigation.[34] Once Nu was detected in the Temple, Vader ordered the Coruscant Guard and the underworld police to secure the entire perimeter. As a result, the Coruscant Guard deployed two companies while the underworld police deployed an entire contingent.[11] The shock troopers fired on Nu when she attempted to flee out of a hole she'd blasted in the Temple wall, prompting her to fight them off with a lightsaber. When Vader appeared at the breach as well, the shock troopers mistook him for a Jedi as well (Commander Fox having neglected to provide a description of the Sith Lord) and opened fire on him as well before Fox arrived in a police gunship and ordered them to cease fire. Fox attempted to apologise for his blunder but Vader, not in the mood for apologies, snapped the commander's neck with the Force before ordering the remaining shock troopers to capture Nu alive. The archivist attempted to jump to her death, but Vader held her in place with the Force and she was bound and loaded into the gunship. When Nu taunted Vader over the knowledge she possessed that he now knew, one of the shock troopers offered to gag her in order to cut off her Jedi lies. Nu, still darkly amused, fired back that they themselves were taking orders from a Jedi in the form of Vader, who was once Anakin Skywalker. Vader then killed all shock troopers in the gunship by blasting them out of it, sending them plummeting to their deaths.[35]

Threats: This is a rather challenging mission, so for the most of the time you will have to be very careful. The first part of the mission will require you to deal with a lot of enemy soldiers. They will be heavily armed, so you can't make any major mistakes. You will also have to avoid a few tanks. Next, you will take part in a fight with an enemy gunship. You could use the ZEUS-MPAR rocket launcher against it, although this won't be necessary. There are also a lot of snipers in different areas of this sector. Some of them may be hard to find, so it would be best to use the tactical view all the time. You should also know that the main square has appeared in previous missions of the campaign. As a result, you will probably know where to go. You should also try to remember good shooting spots that you have used before.

Take your time looking around at all the gorgeous scenery around you, believe me, there's lots to look at on this planet - and scan Samus' gunship while you're at it for the logbook. Go bushwhacking for a while around this area, but you'll find that the door to the right of Samus' gunship is the way to go for now (the door way up on the ledge ahead of the gunship leads to the Impact Crater).

Further investigation with the use of external programs reveals more behind-the-scenes information about the Gunship. The entity names of the two Gunships fought in Nova Prospekt are 'Penn' and 'Teller', after the comedy and magic duo.[7] The Gunship does not fly independently, unlike the City Scanners, but instead exclusively follows path tracks set in the game; info_target_gunshipcrash entities are used to suggest spectacular crashing points for defeated Gunships.[9] In the Half-Life 2 model viewer, the Synth's "dragonfly" eyes can be seen to possess the ability to extend downwards and sweep left and right.

AFSOC is comprised of highly trained, rapidly deployable Airmen, who conduct special operations missions worldwide. Airmen who undertake Special Operations careers specialize in unique skills such as parachuting, scuba diving, rappelling, motorcycling, survival skills, and more. Aircraft in the command include specialized mobility aircraft such as the MC-130, CV-22 and C-146, Close Air Support aircraft such as the AC-130 gunship, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft such as the MQ-9 and U-28.

O'Donnell, a 24-year-old from suburban Milwaukee, was part of the helicopter rescue mission involving two unarmed transports and four gunships that were dispatched from an airbase in Vietnam's central highlands. After lingering at 1,500 feet, waiting for the recon team to reach the extraction point, one transport had to return to base to refuel. The transport was on its way back when the recon team radioed that it couldn't hold out much longer. O'Donnell dropped his helicopter into a windy canyon and through a small opening in the canopy, lowered his craft to just above the ground. The recon patrol emerged from the jungle with enemy fire trailing after them. It took about four agonizingly long minutes for all eight men to board, a little longer than the average pop song.

Those traumas happen many times over. Lake was the pilot who first deployed the recon team O'Donnell swooped in to rescue. Though only 19 at the time, he'd been in Vietnam for 11 months and had more flight experience than O'Donnell, making him the mission command. After O'Donnell's craft exploded, he watched a gunship fly over the crash site looking for the downed vehicle with rockets and tracers chasing after it from the jungle floor. He took his own helicopter into the valley as best he could, hoping to see anything, before giving the order for everybody to return to base. "I made the hardest decision of my life," Lake tells Weiss. "No one ever went back. The war went on, the next day, more war. We carried on."

We were 10 miles from the nearest U.S. unit, across impossible terrain with no roads. I thought if we took on more than we knew, we could be killed or worse, captured. So, I called for gunships to strafe the hill.

Companies A and B flew five miles east to an LZ southwest of Phu Hoa. XT705184. Moving north-northeast off the landing zone Company A made contact at 11:35 a.m. with an unknown size enemy force but sustained no casualties. XT708193. Still moving northeast, A and B Companies made contact on the outskirts of Phu Hoa village at 1 p.m. sustaining 12 US wounded by gunshot. XT714197. The enemy lost 7 killed (body count). Three hours latter a supporting gunship was downed in the Filhoi Rubber Plantation by small arms fire. XT700196.

At 1:15 p.m. the companies were fully engaged in the vicinity of XT695122, with sporadic contact continuing until nearly half past five. Enemy forces were engaged by the companies organic weapons with the support of artillery, gunships and air strikes resulting in 15 VC KIA (BC) ñ seven of them credited to the 2/12th Infantrymen who lost eight wounded and two killed.

Co. A and C fighting; 12:45 pm vic XT6914 2:06 pm supporting gunships received heavy fire. 2:19 pm two US WIA returned with A/W, S/A and air strikes.3:00 pm Co. A at XT692147 received WIAs and KIAs. Losses for battle: 9(+/-) and 2 US KIA.

Bravo company air assaulted into the same area and got into a firefight (supported by gunships) resulting in 11 VC captured, and an estimated dozen VC killed. Bravo had one wounded in action and evacuated.

The UH-60 helicopters from 7th Infantry Division (Light) and 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, which had dropped them off, had to come to rescue the troops stranded in the mud whilst some more were saved by Panamanian civilians forming human chains to stop them drowning in the morass. The presence of these civilians was obviously welcome for the stranded and somewhat helpless soldiers, who were sitting ducks for any P.D.F. forces who might want to shoot them. They also hampered the operation, as helicopter gunships could no longer fire on P.D.F. forces for fear of hitting the civilians.

The P.D.F. forces defending La Comandancia had already started some preparation in the hours before the invasion, with roadblocks including one to the north, which was made from two dump trucks placed across the road. With H hour pulled forward by 15 minutes, the attack was led by Team Wolf Apache using their AH-64 helicopters. They took out several 2 ton trucks with 30 mm cannon fire and a pair of V-300 armored cars with Hellfire missiles. An AC-130 gunship used its 105 mm gun to aid in the suppression of La Comandancia, along with further helicopter-launched Hellfire missiles. 2ff7e9595c
